- MCIL funds may also acquire stakes or securities of companies in profitable and potential business or investment.
- A proportion of the MCIL funds’ assets may be managed by Sub-manager who is specialized in an identified area of investment relevant to MCIL funds’ objective including investing in other collective investment schemes to ride on their system and expertise for their consistent good performance and systematic trading strategies.
- MCIL funds will apply a bottom-up approach to investible assets selection, the objective of which is to deliver out-performance by targeting absolute return to provide for regular income to investors.
- MCIL funds will adopt an unconstrained investment strategy where the Manager will invest by exploiting opportunities across the broader markets, irrespective of whether the securities which MCIL funds invest in are listed in any recognized exchange or not, or assigning weightage, restrictions and limitation to MCIL funds’ asset exposure to any market, sector, issuer, counter party or securities.
- This diversified portfolio strategy is built upon the application of in-house or third party’s proprietary systematic trading models with the aim to generate positive returns from both rising and falling markets.
Under normal market circumstances, markets that MCIL may directly invest in include, but are not limited to: currencies, energies, metals, other indices and financials, insurance and credit deposit swaps, and foreign exchange currency contracts, physical or otherwise.
MCIL trading strategy is partly managed by systematic trading models which seek to capture momentum-based effects in a consistent manner with deployment of risk management tool. The aim is to generate positive returns from both rising and falling markets or economic climates.
